An employee shall, in providing his services, be entitled to effective health and safety protection and on the other side, be bound to observe at the workplace all legal and statutory health and safety measures.
The employee shall be able to take part through his authorised representatives at the workplace, in controlling any such measures as the employer is bound to observe, if there are no specialised bodies or centres with authority in this connection under the laws for the time being in force.
On the other side, the employer shall be bound to provide practical and proper health and safety training to the workers employed, or when they have to apply a new method which may cause serious risks to the employees or third parties, whether using own services or with the involvement of the relevant official services.
